Harry Styles’ “Watermelon Sugar” (co-written and produced by Tyler Johnson) tallied another achievement this week – 1 billion streams on Spotify. It marks Styles’ first song to reach this milestone both as a solo artist and as a member of One Direction, and the track joins a list of just over 100 songs in Spotify history to surpass the 1 billion mark. The 3X Platinum single went #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and #1 at Top 40 and Hot AC radio, and is widely considered one of 2020’s most successful songs.
