She is a South London-based singer-songwriter whose debut single the subversively romantic “Coming Around”, has racked up over two million streams and built her a fast-growing fan base while earning key support across major platforms. fliss was featured on the cover of Spotify’s New in Pop, Next Gen Singer-Songwriters, and Fresh Finds, alongside high placements on Fresh Finds Pop, All New Pop, and more. She also landed on New Music Friday in the US, UK, Iceland, Denmark, and Norway, with additional support from BBC Radio London, Radio 1’s Future Pop with Maia Beth and Jodie Bryant. Across other platforms, her music gained traction on Deezer’s UK Pop Fever and Brand-New UK, and Amazon’s Brand-New Music and Fresh Indie. Her music has been spotlighted by Elton John on his Rocket Hour radio show, and fans flooded her socials demanding her next release.
Scott Cutler commented: The first time I heard fliss I knew she was extremely special. The song “Coming Around” and the clip she released were both unique and exceptional. After hearing the rest of the songs I knew we had to sign her to PULSE Music Group. She is a once in a generation artist and I am thrilled we are now partners.
Saul Fitton (Senior Vice President, A&R/Head of Creative UK) commented, “I’ve been aware of fliss for a couple of years and her talent really is undeniable. She’s a phenomenal artist at the very start of what we believe will be a huge career. The songwriting is already shining through from day one — the songs are brilliant — and we couldn’t be more excited about what’s ahead.”
fliss commented, “From the moment I met Scott, Josh & the team at Pulse, I knew it felt right. What stuck with me was how many of them started out as songwriters, producers & artists, working their way through the industry purely through love for music. As a songwriter, that kind of passion & energy is what I related to most. Pulse have built a strong global team, and it feels extra special to also be building that connection in the US. I’m excited for a busy year ahead and feel lucky to have such an incredible team around me.
Sarah Stennett (FAE) commented: “For over three decades Josh, Scott and I have been waiting for the stars to align to work on an artist of exceptional calibre. I am thrilled that we are moving forward with fliss with such a brilliant creative team.”
fliss is what happens when vintage soul crashes headlong into Gen Z honesty. Her single “Coming Around” earned her a support slot on Amie Blue’s tour. fliss is inspired by Etta James, Ray Charles, and 70s icons like Fleetwood Mac, Neil Young, and Carole King and blends retro warmth, textured instrumentation, and undeniable pop hooks.
