PULSE MUSIC GROUP AND WIDE EYED ENTERTAINMENT EXTEND WORLDWIDE PUBLISHING DEAL WITH SOLLY

PULSE Music Group has renewed their deal with Sarah Solovay, professionally known as Solly (writer of “Heart Wants What It Wants” recorded by Bebe Rexha, “Take You Dancing” recorded by Jason Derulo, and “Summer of Love” recorded by Shawn Mendes & Tainy) via a creative joint venture with Beka Tischer’s Wide Eyed Entertainment, as announcedd today by Scott Cutler and Josh Abraham, co-CEO’s of PULSE Music Group and Ashley Calhoun, President/Head of Creative, PULSE Music Group.

Solly is a singer and songwriter from NYC, currently residing in Los Angeles, whose lyrical sensibility has become her recognizable strength among the artist and songwriter community. Most recently, Solly co-wrote David Guetta and Bebe Rexha’s newly released single “One in a Million,” as well as Bebe’s pop radio single “Heart Wants What It Wants,” in addition to three other songs on Bebe’s recent album: “Seasons feat. Dolly Parton”, “Miracle Man” and “I’m Not High I’m in Love”. Solly has also been an integral collaborator on Nessa Barrett’s project, contributing to five songs on her latest EP, including singles “hell is a teenage girl”, “american jesus”, “BANG BANG!”, and prior single “tired of california”. Other co-writing highlights include Shawn Mendes x Tainy’s radio single “Summer of Love”; Jason Derulo’s “Take You Dancing” (RIAA Platinum single, BMI Pop Award Winner); GAYLE’s single “god has a sense of humor”; Alana Springsteen’s single “ghost in my guitar feat. Chris Stapleton” and Jimmy Fallon and Dolly Parton’s “Almost Too Early For Christmas”. 

In January 2018, Wide Eyed Entertainment formed a joint venture with Pulse Music Group to publish artists/writers Tobi Lou, Avena Savage, Todd Spadafore, Noel Zancanella, Aldae and Solly and more. This year, PULSE Music Group’s Tyler Johnson won the IVOR Novello Award for PRS for Music Most Performed Work for Harry Styles “As It Was” (winning alongside co-writers Harry Styles and Kid Harpoon). PULSE Music Group also took “Song of the Year” honors at this year’s BMI Pop Awards for The Kid LAROI & Justin Bieber’s “Stay” – co-written by PULSE Music Group writers FNZ.  Most recently, PULSE writers collaborated on 5 songs on Travis Scott’s #1 Billboard album UTOPIA including the lead single “K-Pop Ft. Bad Bunny & The Weekend” (via DVLP) which debuted at #7 on the Billboard Hot 100. Noah Kahan’s “Dial Drunk” (via Noah Levine) is at #2 Mediabase Triple A and #12 at Alternative. PULSE Music Group currently holds the #1 Mediabase Mainstream AC position with “Flowers” – Miley Cyrus (via ALDAE). “Flowers” is the longest running female chart-topper this decade for Billboard Adult Airplay as well as the fastest song to reach 1 billion Spotify streams in Spotify history. Harry Styles “Satellite” (via Tyler Johnson) is #20 Mediabase Hot AC and Young Thug & Drake’s “Oh U Went” (via FNZ) is Top 20 at Mediabase Rhythmic and Urban. Doechii & Kodak Black – “What It Is (Block Boy)” (via PULSE writer Verse Simmonds) becomes Doechi’s first Top 10 radio single and her first Hot 100 single.
