Kacey Musgraves’ new album Golden Hour debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart, and is her third straight release to top the chart. It received widespread critical acclaim during its rollout, and is likely to appear on many “best of” lists at the end of 2018. Recorded mostly at a studio above a horse stable owned by Sheryl Crow, the album is a reflection of Musgrave’s personal life in which she says “many things finally came to fruition.” Pulse and Creative Nation client Natalie Hemby co-wrote the songs “Butterflies”, “Velvet Elvis”, and “Rainbow”. Tommy English co-wrote the song “High Horse” which Musgraves performed on “Ellen.”
