ELIZABETH NICHOLS SIGNS WITH PULSE RECORDS
PULSE Records has signed singer-songwriter Elizabeth Nichols as announced today by PULSE Music Group co-CEOs Scott Cutler and Josh Abraham and President, Ashley Calhoun. The 22-year-old Texas native seeks to captivate listeners with relatable, raw storytelling that explores everything from small-town life to current cultural trends. After spending many of her formative years in Kentucky and Oklahoma, Nichols is now based in Nashville, where she is working currently on her next project. Nichols signs her label deal with PULSE on the heels of her debut single, “I Got A New One,” released on December 6th, which has amassed more than 50 millions views across social media platforms as well as accumulating over seven million streams across digital platforms. The single spent more than two weeks on Spotify’s Viral Charts and landed on Apple Music’s country chart.
Even before moving to Music City, Nichols was hand-picked by Sam Barber to co-write his song “Morning Time,”
and has since immersed herself in the co-writing process, often alongside Jackson Foote, with whom she wrote “I
Got a New One” and the recently released “Trailer Treasure.” She’s eager to bring her songs to a live audience,
having recently opened for Wyatt Flores and with plans for other high-profile Nashville stages to be announced
later this year. Nichols will release her new single “Bad Taste” on March 21 st .
