ASHLEY CALHOUN NAMED TO BILLBOARD’S R&B/HIP-HOP “POWER PLAYERS”

For the second consecutive year, PULSE Music Group’s President and Head of Creative, Ashley Calhoun, has been named to Billboard’s prestigious R&B/Hip-Hop “Power Players” list, which honors executives across the genre within the music industry.

Calhoun proudly notes that PULSE clients Isaac “Zac” De Boni and Michael “Finatik” Mulé (known as FNZ) were honored as top producers at BMI’s 2022 R&B Hip-Hop Awards. Among the duo’s recent hits are “Wait for U” by Future (featuring Drake and Tems), which debuted at No. 1 on the Hot 100, and “Rich Flex,” from Drake and 21 Savage, which reached No. 2. PULSE also represents Angel Lopez, co-writer of Jack Harlow’s Hot 100 chart-topper “First Class”; Ty Dolla $ign, who is featured along with Tyga on his co-write of “Chosen” by Blxst; and Brent Faiyaz, who had seven Hot 100 hits in 2022.
