Billboard’s “Women in Music” is an annual event established to recognize women in the music industry who have made significant contributions to the business and who, through their work and continued success, inspire generations of women to take on increasing responsibilities within the field, according to the magazine. PULSE Music Group’s President (Ashley Calhoun), SVP of A&R (Annie Aberle), and SVP of Marketing of PULSE Records (Sara Ahmed) were all honored at this year’s event, which also recognized Doechii as the “Woman of the Year”.
