Creative Nation is a music service company committed to maximizing creative potential by inspiring people to become the best versions of themselves. The music publishing and management company is owned by Luke and Beth Laird, and is home to some of music’s top songwriters and producers. The company has partnerships with PULSE Music Publishing and Hitcher Music, and is based in Nashville, TN.

Luke Laird is a Grammy winning producer and has written twenty-one #1 singles and written for some of music’s biggest artists including: Tim McGraw, Eric Church, Lady Antebellum, Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton, Hunter Hayes, Ne-Yo, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Sara Evans, Little Big Town, John Legend, and many others. Beth Laird is a music publishing executive with work experience at BMG Music Publishing, Windswept Music Publishing, and most recently in writer/publisher relations at BMI. In 2011, she was named one of Billboard Magazine’s “30 Under 30 Power Players to Watch” and in 2013 she received the prestigious honor of being one of Music Row’s Rising Women on the Row.

The versatile songwriter Barry Dean has had multiple radio singles heard on both country and pop formats – which include two No. 1 hits with “Pontoon” and “Day Drinkin’” (Little Big Town). In 2015, Barry received a BMI Pop Award for co-writing the Top 40 hit, “Girls Chase Boys” (Ingrid Michaelson). He also co-wrote Tim McGraw’s Top 5 radio hit, “Diamond Rings And Old Barstools” which garnered him his first Grammy nomination in 2016 and an NSAI award for “Songs I Wish I’d Written.”

Natalie Hemby is revered as one of the top female writers in Country music. She has had five No. 1 singles, including Miranda Lambert’s No. 1 hit, “Automatic,” which received several award nominations including a Grammy for Best Country Song. Throughout her career, Natalie has had multiple ACM, CMA and Grammy nods and international chart success. She had seven songs on Miranda Lambert’s Platinum, four songs on Little Big Town’s Pain Killer, along with cuts on albums by Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, and Labrinth.
