Biography

206Derek is a Seattle born, LA-based producer who got his start by moving to LA as an engineer. He started engineering for Don Toliver and Travis Scott, and soon became one of the very few people that got to put together ideas for Don, creatively. Soon he started transitioning out of the engineer seat and into the producer chair with Don’s trust, and now his major placements are with Don with 5 songs off of Love Sick, and a few more in the pipeline. Continuing to work with both Don and Travis, Derek is ready to produce for others and really looking to expand his repertoire. So far he’s worked with a lot of the Pulse crew including 8ae, Saint Mino, Nathan Butts, and FNZ.
